10/15/2015Hi Crafters! I’m over on the A Jillian Vance Design Blog today! I have another Christmas card using the fun Christmas Lights Shaker Die Set and the Shine Bright Stamp Set. This is a nice clean & simple card, and you could easily make a bunch of these for your Holiday Cards list! I simply stamped the light bulbs, colored them with my Copics, hand cut them out, and added Glossy Accents to them. Then I die cut the gold tops of the bulbs from a separate piece of gold paper with the die set. I finished the card off with stamping the sentiments, and the lights’ shine marks. Super easy! Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to head over to the AJVD Blog to see the awesomeness the other designers have going on!
10/12/2015Hello Crafters! Today I am over on the DeNami Design Blog with a bright and cheerful card! I’m using 4 DeNami Design stamps on this one today: I stamped the Tropical Drink image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on to X-Press It Blending Card Paper, and colored them with Copic markers. I pulled out my stash of Pretty Pink Posh sequins to add some fun sparkle. I got to use my new Clear Droplets on this project; I think I have a new favorite sequin! I also used Lemon Meringue 4mm Cupped and Fresh Mint 4mm Cupped. All the fun papers came from 2 MFT 6×6 Dots & Stripes paper pads: Sorbet and Fresh, so that was easy to work with; and the dies all coordinated from Lawn Fawn (Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and Scalloped Rectangle Stackables), so that was super easy to plan, too! I stamped the sentiment and the berries with Lawn Fawn inks (Fake Tan, Celery Stick, Sunflower), and added some Lawn Fawn Lemon twine and a bow to the left of the offset stamped images. The final touch was my Zig Clear Wink of Stella Brush marker on all the orange critters, and Glossy Accents on the fruit pieces on the stick. Thank you SO much for stopping by today; I hope you’re having a great week. Happy Crafting!
10/12/2015Oh my gosh, it was SO fun working with these Avery Elle stamps & dies, and this new Doodlebug paper collection! And oh my, all these glorious PPP sequins! Heaven, sheer Heaven I tell you! LOL, I have a fun Halloween shaker card for you today, and I might have a hard time letting this one go. This new Avery Elle stamp set, Monsters, is so incredibly fun, and it is very versatile; you can use it for many other holidays and occassions. It’s a real winner, I tell you! The banner dies both come from the new Avery Elle Scalloped Banner die set. All the fun sequins are Pretty Pink Posh (all shown in Supply List below). The papers are from Doodlebug’s new October 31st collection. All the images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press IT Blending Card paper, and colored with Copic Sketch markers:

10/07/2015Good morning, Crafters! Today I’m featuring 4 stamp sets from DeNami Design in this spooky AND pretty Halloween card! After stamping all the images, I used Inkadinkado masking paper to cover them up, and created the sky using Distress Inks: Dusty Concord, Black Soot, & Hickory Smoke. All the dies are from the Blueprints 16 Die-namics Set from MFT, and the papers are from the new Authentique 6×6 Moonlit collection. I added Stickles to all the buildings’ windows and doors: Orange Peel, Paprika, & Xmas Red. After adding the Prima flowers and the crinkle ribbon, the perfect final touch was adding cupped sequins from Pretty Pink Posh: Pumpkin 6mm, Onyx 6mm, Bronze 4mm, & Charcoal 4mm. Want to hear something funny? My husband says the flying witch looks like a space ship because of the background I created. LOL, I don’t know if that’s good or bad! Thanks for stopping by today, and Happy Crafting!
10/05/2015It’s time for another Challenge over at MarkerPop! The theme is Anything Goes, so I made a Birthday card! I’m working with the Paper Smooches Birthday Bash stamp set and their Fancy Frames Icon die set for this colorful one! Yes, the background is the stamped balloons heat embossed with Ranger Clear Embossing Powder, and then lots of Distress Inks (colors shown in supply list below). I did some dabbing of color onto the Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Paper with a paint brush, and I also did some smooshing of the paper into the ink & water on the craft mat. The cake is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press IT Blending Card paper, and colored with Copic Sketch markers: Y02, Y06, Y08 / BG01, BG02, BG05 / YG01, YG03, YG25 / BV21, BV23 / YG09 The final touch was painting all the balloons with my Zig Clear Wink of Stella, and then covering them with Glossy Accents. So head on over to the MarkerPOP! blog to enter the Challenge!
I’ll be entering this card into the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge Oct. 4-10: Anything Goes
