For Day 1, we’re featuring the gorgeous set, Love Grows; it’s a lovely mini set, perfect for Mother’s Day, sending a Hello, Condolences, or anything! I made 2 Mother’s Day cards: an A2 size, and a mini.
I stamped the 3 flower images with Clear Embossing Powder onto the Kraft cardstock, heat embossed them, and then used my Ink Blending Tool to wipe the 4 Distress Inks over all the images. Then used the Iron Off Embossing technique that removed the clear embossing powder. On top of subtle flower lines that were left behind (such a cool look!), I painted glimmer with my Wink of Stella brush.
The second card is a mini 3″x 3″ card, where I wanted to create a “quilt look”. I stamped and colored the images onto tiny squares, and then texture embossed them. What a cool effect!Would you like to win Love Grows? This set will be given away to Two lucky winners! Here’s how to win: Comment on the NND blog and Design Team and Guest blogs (see list below)!
