There are 2 different techniques for embossing: Texture Embossing or Heat Embossing. I chose to do Heat Embossing on this project. If you’re not sure of the difference for each technique, here is a perfect video by Kristina Werner (I love her!) on the Simon Says Stamp You Tube channel explaining the difference:Thank you, Kristina! 😉 For this Challenge I used Graduation Ellie once again. On my first card with her last week, she had on a traditional black cap & gown (you can see that project here). I wanted to do another one with her in a colored cap & gown because so many middle schools use their school colors for their caps & gowns. Green & gold were the colors for my high school, so that’s what I chose. The stamp I used for the heat embossing is done with a Hero Arts cling stamp, called Alphabet Background; the embossing powder is Ranger Embossing Tinsel – Bridal. Thanks for stopping here today, and I can’t wait to see what everyone creates for the Challenge on Paper Nest Dolls’ Challenge Blog in the next 2 weeks; happy scrapping!
