I have a great guy card today, featuring Sweet Stamp Shop‘s Festival 30 stamp set! I started by stamping the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic friendly paper, X-Press It blending cardstock. Then, I colored the images using my Copic Sketch markers. I carefully hand cut the images out, and then colored around all the cut edges with my Memento Tuxedo Black marker to give it a finished look. All the papers are from My Favorite Thing’s 6×6 Proper Pinstripes paper pad. The yellow lined paper is die cut using a die from Lawn Fawn’s Large Square Stitched Stackables die set. The green lined paper is die cut using a die from Lawn Fawn’s Small Square Stitched Stackables die set. The goofy “square” openings are die cut using the 2 dies is My Favorite Thing’s Peek-a-Book Wonky Windows die set. After the wonky square opening was cut into the green piece, then I got out my Mini Misti, lined up the sentiments onto the green piece, and stamped them with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. The 2 final touches were adding Zig Clear Wink of Stella on the glass and pretzel, and a few Tangerine Jewels by Doodlebug. This is a cool stamp set, and I hope you have a reason to use it!
Hi there! How about a little Sweet Stamp Shop goodness today?! For this project, I’m featuring the cute Root Beer stamp set! I made this one to stick in my hubby’s lunch box, to give him a little smile in the middle of his work day. How perfect, right?! All the goodies I used are listed below! Have a great day!!
Hi Sweet Stamp Shop Fans! When I saw this hilarious mini stamp set, Grannie Panties, I just HAD to make a card for my friend, because her & I were just laughing the other day about a certain couple’a girls’ panty collections! Here are all the goodies I used to create this adorable card: I started by getting Mini Misti out (if you don’t know what the Mini Misti is, well, OMG, you MUST find out! Here is a video about it). I placed a piece of X-Press IT Blending Cardstock on it about the size I would need (you’ll see I placed the eventual cutting die I’d be using, so I could see about where to stamp my bow image): Here’s the stamped image, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (a great ink for coloring with Copic markers): Next, I stamped the image again onto a sticky note (at the top of the sticky note where it’s sticky on the back), and detail cut it out. I took the cut-out “sticky-note bow”, and placed it over the stamped bow on X-Press It paper; this is serving as a “mask”: Here is where I then stamped the adorable panties image OVER the “sticky-note bow”: Next, stamp the eye glasses on. Then remove the “sticky-note bow”, and you see the effect you get! Then, get to coloring! I used Copic markers to color the image in. After coloring her in, I then got my square die and die cut the image to have a square shape: I got all the papers out I was using, my banner and rectangle dies, and die cut those out. It is then time to just assemble! My final touch was the bling by Doodlebug: Swimming Pool Jewels. I hope this inspires you to look at undies in a whole new light! Have a great week, and Happy Crafting! Valerie
I have some SWEEEEET NEWS for you today!! I’ve been bursting at the seams to finally tell you… I am now a member of the Sweet Stamp Shop‘s (SSS) Creative Contributor Team!! As a member of this team, I will have blog posts for you, there will be images of my SSS crafting moments with SSS goodies shared on their Instagram page, and of course I will help feature the newest SSS products when there is a new release (May’s is coming up!)! I have a fun & funny one for you today. I started by stamping the Cheesy Card stamp image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto X-Press It Blending Card paper (using my Mini Misti), and coloring it with Copic Sketch markers. Then I hand cut it out, and colored the cut edges with my Memento Tuxedo Black marker. For the card’s background, I taped a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper to my Ken Oliver Best Ever Craft Mat, and then taped the MFT Large Grid Stencil over that on an angle. With my Mini Ink Blending Tool I blended 3 Tim Holtz Distress Inks over the stencil onto the paper: Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, and Fossilized Amber. Then I die cut the colored paper wiht the largest die from the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Square die set. I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink onto Bazzill White Cardstock, and die cut it (and a piece of White Foam) with a die from the Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment Banners die set. Then I die cut a piece of MFT Silver Foil cardstock and Black Foam using the Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Squares die set. My final touch was painted Zig Clear Wink of Stella on the cheese grater, and gluing these Pretty Pink Posh cupped sequins on the card: Metallic Silver 6mm & 4mm, Marigold 6mm & 4mm. Thanks for stopping by today, crafters! Have a GRATE day, and Happy Crafting! ~Valerie
