The pretty falling hearts are made using the Falling Hearts stencil by Simon Says Stamp, Studio 490 Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste, and my new fave – the ZIG Wink of Stella GLITTER CLEAR Brush Tip Marker
I just love this happy little scene, and the adorable Bee! He is too cute!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, and have a wonderful day! Happy Crafting! Valerie xo Supplies Used:
Every year for Valentines Day, I like to leave a little surprise in my 4 kids’ and my husband’s lunch boxes, so that they get a little Love from Mom/Honey when they’re at school and work on this special day. The new Newton’s Nook Love å la Carte is perfect for this job!
I had SO much fun with these little mini’s, that I wanted to make more! OK, some close-ups & details…
The scalloped squares nesting dies are from QuicKutz
I used the Falling Hearts stencil by Simon Says Stamp and Studio 490 Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste for the first time (and I loved it!) on the scalloped frames, and then I painted each raised heart with my Wink of Stella pen
I used the stencil again, and various ink pads to create the falling hearts backgrounds on the inner sections
And for my hubby:
Those were a lot of fun, and now it’s your turn to head over to the Challenge on the Newton’s Nook blog to check out all the deets!
Have fun creating, and good luck!
I’ll be entering these cards into the following Challenges:
- Dreamtime Designs: #3 Technique I’ve Never Tried Before (ends 1/31) I used a stencil and embossing paste for the first time – I am hooked!
