Translation: Happy Easter!

Hi MarkerPop Peeps! With Easter quickly approaching, I’m mixing old and new (well, “newER” anyway) Lawn Fawn products today for a sweet and fun Easter card!

The adorable chicks and all their sweet accessories com from Lawn Fawn’s Chirpy Chirp Chirp set that was released in February of 2016 (seems like just yesterday!). I stamped them with Lawn Fawndamentals Black Licorice ink onto X-Press Ink paper, and colored them with my Copic Sketch markers.

All the adorable die cut pieces are all Lawn Fawn Cut Sets.  Here are the sets I used and for which pieces:

All of the solid colors are actually white paper colored with Lawn Fawndamentals inks and a couple Distress inks; you can see all the specific ones I used in the Supply List below.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a GREAT day!

Happy Birthday – Open Me!

What fun interactive cards are! And I have that on my card today, featuring Lawn Fawn’s 3 Sprinkled with Joy products (1 stamp set, and 2 different die sets)! I created a birthday card, and pulled in Lawn Fawn’s Baked with Love stamp set & coordinating die set to do that.

  The images are stamped with Lawn Fawn’s Black Licorice ink onto X-Press It paper, and colored with Copic markers. I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment inside the oven from Lawn Fawn’s Year Two stamp set and their Yeti ink. The background papers (yes, Lawn Fawn’s!) (links here & here) are die cut with dies from Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Square Stackables dies – Large and Small.

I went a little crazy with the sequins, but I couldn’t help it! I LOVE my Pretty Pink Posh sequins, and this was the perfect card to add a ton of them! You can see which ones I used in the Supply List below.

Thank you for stopping by; have a wonderful day, and happy crafting!

MarkerPop Challenge #114

Good morning, Crafters! It’s time for a new Challenge over at MarkerPop!

I’m using Lawn Fawn’s Turn Me On stamp set & coordinating die set, and a few other Lawn Fawn die sets, also (links in Supply List below).

The paper is from Lawn Fawn’s 6×6 Let’s Polka Mon Amie paper collection, and I stamped the light swithces with Lawn Fawndamentals Wild Rose ink. The image is stamped with Lawn Fawndamentals Black Licorice ink onto X-Press IT Bright White Blending Card Paper, then the images are colored with Copic markers.

So that’s it; I kept it simple today, similar to the image (or so I think, anyway!). Have a great week, crafters!

Thursday Cuppa Joe

How about a Thursday Cuppa Joe today with My Favorite Things (MFT) for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog?!

When I first saw the MFT Gumball Greetings Card kit, I fell in Love immediately!  I rarely (if ever) order crafting kits, but THIS one is just so adorable and versatile, I figured I could whip out all kinds of great cards and keep them on hand. No, I haven’t done that yet, but I will – I swear!  Haha, but I DID use the kit for today’s card, and I altered it a little by making it a coffee card! Here is the video showing what this fun kit has in it:

To make it a coffee card, I pulled out the Lawn Fawn (LF) Love You a Lattee stamp set, and stamped the coffee beans with LF’s Walnut ink.

My Favorite Things Gumball Greetings kit, Lawn Fawn stamps & ink & dies {ValByDesign, 2016}

I also used LF’s Large Stitched 4 Bar Rectangles die set, and their new Everyday Sentiment Banners die set.

My Favorite Things Gumball Greetings kit, Lawn Fawn stamps & ink & dies {ValByDesign, 2016} I hope you enjoyed! Have a wonderful day, and Happy Crafting!

One Card, Three Different Versions!

I had an idea for this design today, but I had 3 different versions in my head! So, that’s what I did – 3 different versions!

I created three Valentine’s Day cards using these Lawn Fawn (LF) products:

Lawn Fawn stamps & dies & papers, Distress inks, Copics {ValByDesign, 2016} So for the first card, I just stamped the images with the LF ink onto the patterned paper, and hand cut them out (BUT… soon, the coordinating die set will make that MUCH easier!).

Lawn Fawn stamps & dies & papers {ValByDesign, 2016}

On the second card, I stamped the mailbox onto X-Press IT Blending Card paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored it with Copics. Then, I made a mask using Mask It, covered up the colored mailbox, and got the colors on the background using my Mini Ink Blending Tool and 4 Tim Holtz Distress inks pads: Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac, Picked Raspberry.

Lawn Fawn stamps & dies & papers, Distress inks, Copics {ValByDesign, 2016}

And for the third card, I rubbed Tumbled Glass, Broken China, and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Inks with my Mini Ink Blending Tools onto Distress Watercolor paper; then I splashed it with water. The mailbox is stamped onto X-Press IT Blending Card paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored it with Copics, and hand cut out.

Lawn Fawn stamps & dies & papers, Distress inks, Copics {ValByDesign, 2016}

I painted Zig Clear Wink of Stella onto all the red hearts for my final touch!

Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by!

Thursday Cuppa Joe

Hooray! It’s Thursday Cuppa Joe time over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog!

Today I’m working with a new set from Taylored Expressions: the Koffee Time stamp and die set. This was so fun to work with; I used all Bazzill papers to create the coffee machine (specific colors are shown in the Supply List at the end of the post).

Taylored Expressions dies and stamps, Lawn Fawn dies, Avery Elle paper, Pretty Pink Posh sequins, Bazzill cardstock {ValByDesign, 2016} All the patterned papers are from Avery Elle’s 6×6 Neutral paper pad. I used the largest die from Lawn Fawn’s Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables die set, and the curved-corners rectangle die from their Stitched Journaling Card die set (the little red heart is also die cut from that set).

Taylored Expressions dies and stamps, Lawn Fawn dies, Avery Elle paper, Pretty Pink Posh sequins, Bazzill cardstock {ValByDesign, 2016} All the cupped sequins are Pretty Pink Posh: 4mm & 6mm Raspberry, 4mm6mm Sparkling Clear, and 4mm & 6mm Charcoal. I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black ink. My final touch was Zig Clear Wink of Stella on the red heart.

Thursday Cuppa Joe

Hi Crafters! This was supposed to go up yesterday (on Thursday), but I realized when I was at work, that I had never written the post – UGH! So, it’s a day late; oh well!    So… here’s my Thursday Cuppa Joe post over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog, a day late! LOL 😉

The set I’m working with today is actually from a company that is now closed. I didn’t know that until I went to make my Supply List for the post! The company was called Fresh Squeezed Stamps

Fresh Squeezed Stamps stamps, Pretty Pink Posh die and sequins, Lawn Fawn ink & dies, Prima paper, Copics {ValByDesign, 2016} I used my newest pride & joy from Pretty Pink Posh, their new Scalloped Squares die! And Lawn Fawn’s Large and Small Stitched Square die sets worked perfectly with the scalloped die.

Fresh Squeezed Stamps stamps, Pretty Pink Posh die and sequins, Lawn Fawn ink & dies, Prima paper, Copics {ValByDesign, 2016} All the pretty papers are from Prima’s 6×6 Sunkissed paper pad. The sequins are Pretty Pink Posh’s 6mm Cupped Marshmallow and 4mm Cupped Sand.

Pizza my Heart

I was so excited when I won the Pizza My Heart stamp & die set from Lawn Fawn last month! What a cute and hilarious set! For today’s card for the MarkerPOP! blog, I have a fun Valentine’s Day card using those 2 goodies, plus a TON of other Lawn Fawn (LF) products.

I started by stamping the pizza, the slice of pizza, and the pizza cutter from the LF Pizza My Heart stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It paper and colored them with Copics (I’ll list the colors at the end). Then I die cut them out using the coordinating Pizza My Heart die set.

Lawn Fawn stamps & dies & inks & paper & twine, Copics {ValByDesign, 2016} I cut the circle tag using paper from the LF Let’s Bokeh in the Snow paper pad and the largest die from the LF Stitched Circle Tags die set. Then I die cut the cream colored layer from a piece of paper from the same paper pad and the largest die from the Small Stitched Square Stackables die set. The bottom layer is from the LF Let’s Polka in the Dark paper pad and the largest die from the Large Stitched Stackables die set.

Lawn Fawn stamps & dies & inks & paper & twine, Copics {ValByDesign, 2016} All the adorable pizza toppings on the cream colored layer are stamped with Lawn Fawn inks:

I stamped the light bulb and the light switch from LF’s Turn Me On stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press IT paper, and colored them with Copics. Then I die cut them with the coordinating LF Turn Me On die set. I stamped the sentiment with LF’s Fawndamentals Lobster ink onto Bazzill White paper and die cut it with the LF Speech Bubble die.

Lawn Fawn stamps & dies & ink, Pretty Pink Posh sequins, Copics {ValByDesign, 2016} I die cut a piece of paper from LF’s 6×6 Let’s Bokeh in the Snow paper pad with the the new LF Scripty XOXO die (twice), then cut the same thing out of a piece of white foam (twice), and glued them together. The oval piece is cut from a piece of paper from the LF 6×6 Let’s Polka in the Dark with the second largest die from the Large Stitched Oval Stackables die set.
