Good Monday morning! I hope you all had a great weekend! I know I did – my first baby graduated high school! So hard to believe! OK, on to my card for the week – I made a sweet Birthday Card using a newer Mama Elephant set – the Butterfly Kisses stamp set & die set! I stamped it with a waterproof ink onto Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor cardstock so I could color it with my…. (ta-da!) NEW PRIMA WATERCOLR PENCILS! Yes, I decided to try something new! I practed alot before I did this project; and even this is not very good if you ask me! I watched a bunch of videos; this is the first one I watched, from the Prima web site: I am very excited to introduce a LOT Ken Oliver products to the store! In fact, I’m using his Color Burst Spash paper on this project! And my final touches were the Zig Clear Wink of Stella painted in the large butterfly and the script word “you”, and my Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets. Hope you enjoyed! Have a great day, a fantastic week, and Happy Crafting!
Well, the house next door finally sold (wish us luck that that’s a good thing! lol). So time to whip up a Welcome card for the new neighbors! I’ve been sick as a dog for almost a week (found out last night at the doc that it’s strep – ugh), so this needed to be a quick and easy project! Paper Smooches (PS), Ken Oliver, and Lawn Fawn (LF) to the Rescue on this one! This was fast and super easy: I pulled out the PS Bitty Bungalows stamp set and coordinating die set, and stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Bazzil white paper. The gorgeous papers are from Ken Oliver’s 6×6 Color Burst Splash collection. I die cut the oval piece with LF’s Large Stitched Oval Stackable die set (the largest die in the set). The sentiment is stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. And I used my lovely new MINI Misti stamping tool for all the sentiment stamping: ah-MAZE-ing!!!! Thanks for stopping by today; and just a little reminder: WASH YOUR HANDS ALL THE TIME!!!
