Hi! Thanks for stopping by! Today I have a Condolences card for you, featuring Avery Elle’s Banner & Wreath stamp set and coordinating Ellements set. It’s the perfect set to have on hand because the many sentiments it has all address a bunch of different occasions (wedding, condolences, thank you, birthday, anniversary). I stamped the floral images, the birds, the sentiment, and the banner in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored them with my Copic Sketch markers. The brown straw wreath in the background is stamped with Lawn Fawns Walnut ink. I pulled out a trusty older Lawn Fawn die set, Stitched Borders, to create the stitch lines around the perimeter. And the scallops are done using Lawn Fawn’s Scalloped Rectangle die set. The final touch was adding a few Pretty Pink Posh Marshmallow 4mm cupped sequins. Thanks a bunch for stopping by! Have a great weekend, and Happy Crafting!
It’s time for my first post with DriveByCrafts (store here!)! And for this special post, I chose several new & adorable My Favorite Things (MFT) products! I created 2 cards (I couldn’t help it!). For this first one, the main feature is the 2 lions, and they come from the MFT Lions and Tigers stamp set. And in the background under a sheet of vellum, I couldn’t help but add 2 sweet giraffes are from the MFT Giraffing me Crazy stamp set. I also added 2 more little cuties, the butterfly and the bird, from the MFT Springtime Critters Stamp Set and its coordinating die set. I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored them with Copic Sketch markers. I applied distress ink to my grass die cut with my Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool. I really wanted to color one of the striped tigers, so I made another card, this time a shaker card! I pulled out the MFT Tag Builders Blueprints 6 Die-namics so I could create a shaker card this time! The shaker pouch is MFT’s 2″ Circle Shaker Pouch. The sentiment is stamped onto a tag strip cut from a die from MFT’s Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics set. Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great rest-of your-week, and Happy Crafting!
I had to make 2 completely different cards yesterday; one for my friends who are Expecting (YAY!!), and one for my Aunt & Uncle who unexpectedly lost their daughter, my cousin; talk about complete opposites. And actually, you could say that the card making was actually a therapy for me, as I’m grieving my wonderful cousin that we have lost way too soon. Let’s start with the happy card! For this one, I pulled out a sweet old Lawn Fawn set, Plus One, and it’s coordinating die set. All the other dies used for this card are also Lawn Fawn; you can see them in the supply list at the end. I colored the image with Copic Sketch markers. The sequins are Pretty Pink Posh cupped sequins: Cornflower 4mm & Pink Blush 6mm. For my condolences card, I pulled out a favorite Altenew set of mine, Extra Special. It stamps beautifully, and the image is just so pretty. I stamped the purples with the inks from Altenew’s Shades of Purple ink set. The greens are from Altenew’s Tropical Forest ink set. Thanks for stopping by, and hug your loved one real tight <3
I enjoyed coloring this set so much, that I couldn’t stop at one card, so I made two! It’s the Mama Elephant Organic Blooms stamp set. The first card features yellow roses, and it’s a “Thinking of You” type of card. And the second one, featuring pink roses, can be for any happy occasion, because it says “Happy Everything”! I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto X-Press It Blending Card paper (using my Mini Misti), and colored it with Copic Sketch markers (colors listed at the end). I die cut the X-Press IT paper with the scalloped rectangle die from Mama Elephant’s Creative Cute Basic Die Set. Then I took the largest die from Lawn Fawn’s Small Stitched Rectangle die set and placed it on top of the scalloped die cut piece, and ran it through my Sizzix with all the plates set to make only any embossing of the die on the paper. The card bases (the black piece and the light blue piece) are die cut using the largest die from Lawn Fawn’s Large Stitched Rectangle die set. The cute little banners are die cut using the small die from Lawn Fawn’s Extra Sentiment Banners die set. All the sequins are Pretty Pink Posh: 4mm & 6mm Cupped Onyx, 4mm Cupped Marshmallow, 4mm & 6mm Clear Droplets. I painted all the tiny leaves with my Zig Clear Wink of Stella. Thank you so much for stopping by today! Happy Crafting!
I’ll be entering this project into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Flowers
Today I have a Thinking You/Condolences card today, because unfortunately we all need to make one occasionally. Paper Smooches (PS) and Pretty Pink Posh (PPP) products can sure help you put one together when you need to! The “Thinking of You” banner is from the great-to-have-on-hand PS Blissful Banner stamp set. The gorgeous flower arrangements are from the PS Blossoming Buds stamp set, and I die cut them using the coordinating die set. The images are colored with Copic Sketch markers. The perfect final touch was adding PPP cupped sequins: 4mm Marshmallow and 6mm Lemon Meringue. Take care, and hug your loved ones!
